Navy ship heads to Los Angeles to aid hospitals
California Gov. Gavin Newsom is relying on public-private cooperation to bring in medical supplies and open hospital beds, including a Navy hospital ship destined for Los Angeles. The ship departed San Diego and will treat non-coronavirus patients.
