Condenan a oficiales de migración por permitir paso de ilegales en Colombia

Por solicitud de la Subdirección Seccional de Fiscalías de Bogotá, un juez de conocimiento condenó a 9 años y 10 meses de prisión a Hernán Mauricio Macías y Héctor Sánchez Noval, como autores de los delitos de concierto para delinquir, tráfico de migrantes, cohecho propio y uso de documento público falso.

La sentencia dada a conocer este martes advierte que estas personas hacían parte de una organización dedicada al tráfico de personas buscadas por autoridades nacionales e internacionales.

Los condenados permitían el paso de personas que portaban documentos falsos o adulterados, ignorando requisitos y borrando antecedentes, omitiendo así los controles exigidos por la ley.

La pena fue calculada con un descuento de hasta el 42%, luego de que los procesados aceptaran los cargos que el fiscal del caso les endilgó. En la providencia, el fallador ordenó el pago de una multa de 71 salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes (SMLMV).

En la Cárcel Nacional Modelo, al sur de Bogotá, los condenados purgarán la pena.
