5 injured after a bridge collapses over DC highway
5 people were taken to the hospital when a pedestrian bridge collapsed over a highway in the nation’s capital, expecting to snarl traffic for hours. The accident happened just before noon on Wednesday along Interstate 295 in Northeast Washington.
