WHO chief encouraged by vaccine results but says world has 'long way to go'
World Health Organization director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Friday said he was encouraged by news earlier in the week that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was 90 per cent effective in Phase 3 clinical trials, but advised the world still "has a long way to go."
